Magic-Seal is an innovator and industry leader in the production of custom designed, SELF-ADHESIVE PAPER BANDS for hundreds of uses. Founded in 1949, Magic-Seal has collaborated with its customers to create specialized paper bands for automotive parts, envelopes, stationary, brochures, can labels and neckties just to name a few of hundreds of product applications. Use of the self-sealing paper bands keeps product neatly grouped together and often saves staff time when inventorying product on shelves or in bins. With a special adhesive applied to band ends, nothing else is needed to hold your product together which can contribute to improved productivity in your bindery operation.
As an efficient and inexpensive packaging solution, custom-designed paper bands by Magic-Seal can be used to band single or multiple quantities of product together or to label or tag an item for quick identification. Band sizing varies with application —lengths can be run from four inches to 40 inches and width can be adjusted according to the customer’s product width and packaging needs.
Stock papers are natural and bleached kraft in basis weight from 50 to 70 pounds. Although paper bands can be produced with or without printing, many customers utilize their corporate logo designs and colors for additional impact and recognition. Printing can be done in one to three colors. Bands are packed flat for minimal storage usage.
The restaurant, casual dining and fast food industries have been especially receptive to the many labor-saving uses of Magic-Seal’s specialized paper bands. For ease of handling, restaurants often use Magic-Seal paper bands around pleated cloth or paper napkins. Casual dining and fast food restaurants also use specialized bands to hold plastic utensils or cellophane-wrapped condiment packets. Use of the paper bands not only keeps food service items neat and orderly, their use enhances quick set-up and inventory count functions.
